My
name is Mrs. Parr. I am the second grade teacher at LAFL (Let's Have Fun Learning) School. This is my
first year having a classroom of my own and I am very excited about it! I have been substitute teaching kindergarden
through twelfth grade for the past five years. I was also a Jazzercize Instructor in California for about
eight years. I grew up in La Grande, Oregon and have lived in Washington State for nine years. I
am married and have two children, Ryan and Gary. (Ryan is in the picture with me.) We have one dog, four
cats, two pygmy goats and several fish. I love reading, gardening, snowmobiling and boating with my family.
Our second grade class has had a great start to a
wonderful year! We have been busy learning, but have also been very creative as well. We encourage parents,
family and friends to stop by our classroom to check out some of the amazing artwork displayed around the room and some very
interesting projects that are still in the developing stage.
